The purpose of acquiring skills is to hand them down to the next generation.

The key aspiration of the Founder of the Frans Indongo Group, Dr Frans Indongo, is to leave a legacy of having built a successful Group that will flourish beyond his life. Handing over the baton to suitably-equipped next generation leaders will enhance the Founder’s wish in creating a legacy that is sustainable for generations to come.

After being at the helm of the Frans Indongo Group for 15 years, at a time when the businesses of the Founder of the Group were successfully corporatised and an impressive turnaround activated, Kobus van Graan is handing over the baton to the next generation.

The Group prides itself on the selection of its investments in businesses, joint ventures and leadership. In this instance it is no different as Kobus hands over to Jeremy George, a Chartered Accountant by profession with 15 years industry experience, of which 5 of these years have been with the Frans Indongo Group as Group Chief Operations and Commercial Officer. Jeremy is ready to lead the Group with distinction.

With Jeremy’s promotion, the depth of leadership capacity within the Group afforded it the opportunity to appoint its erstwhile Group Financial Manager, Jacobina Lungameni, a Chartered Accountant by profession with 6 years’ Group experience, to the position of Group Chief Operations Officer. Jacobina is also ready to excel in the new position.

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to Kobus van Graan for his sturdy leadership and strategic role in laying the foundations of the Frans Indongo Group to become a formidable corporate investment group in Namibia.

The Group will continue to have access to Kobus’ services on an advisory basis.

True to its slogan ‘SHAPE TODAY. OWN TOMORROW’, and while enjoying an upward trajectory, the Group is convinced that the announced management changes of TODAY will guide the Group to an even brighter Group-OWNed TOMORROW.
